The IFSB will be organising its 16th Islamic Financial Stability Forum (IFSF) with the theme; Recovery, Resolution and Insolvency for Institutions Offering Islamic Financial Services (IIFS) on 11 December 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, jointly hosted by the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Bank Negara Malaysia. The 16th IFSF is held in conjunction with 31st Meeting of the Council of the Islamic Financial Services Board.
The 16th IFSF is intended to provide a forum to facilitate discussion and better understanding of the emerging issues related to resolution, recovery and insolvency, particularly with respect to the IFSI and to identify opportunities and directions for future work in this critical area.
Participation in the 16th IFSF is open to the Members of the IFSB and Invited Guests only. Confirmation of participation is subject to issuance of a confirmation letter by the IFSB Secretariat.
